The pub supplies dog towels free poop bags & free dog treats. We have the largest part of the pub that is completely dog friendly. We have three celebrity pub dogs that you may well encounter on your visit. Why not bring your furbie and have a chance to win monthly the best pose in our doggy photo booth - free puddings up for grabs for your family up to 8 when dining with us!”

“Quite simply the most dog friendly pub I've ever been to in my life! They know the dogs by name and often greet them before the humans as we go in through the door.”

“Lovely pub set in beautifully kept gardens. Great food reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful. Opposite the pub is a lovely 1 mile walk around the lake Then pop into the fox for a nice relaxing drink.”

“A lovely pub with a nice lakeside dog walk. Good food nice beers and friendly staff.”

“Went to The Fox and Hounds for lunch yesterday. We chose it because we wanted to bring the dog. There are a few dog friendly places to eat and drink in my area but this is top of my list. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. We pre-booked a dog friendly table which had been reserved for us. When we arrived the sun was shining and despite it being very busy we were offered our reserved table or a table outside. We chose to sit inside as rain was on its way. When we arrived one of the first thing I noticed was a sign saying it was dog friendly and outlining that they had a doggy ball pool free poop bags water bowls and free doggy treats. Although we didn't order it they also sold doggy icecream which included a donation to charity. The dog loved his visit and enjoyed his treats. Some places I've visited have allowed dogs but I've felt they haven't truly been dog friendly the same can't be said for The Fox and Hounds. 5* from us (and Hogan the dog). Just across the road there is a large nature reserve perfect for walks as well being very near the river. Thank you for a great visit.”

“A very friendly pub to all but dogs are made very welcome. No matter who serves you they always make a fuss of the dog. Also lots of doggie treats available. So nice to find a pub that genuinely welcomes dogs.”
