REIKI ENERGY HEALING Aid natural healing by clearing energy blocks around the body so your dog can relax, rebalance and heal Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle Japanese energy-balancing technique that translates to ‘universal life energy’. It is a process that aids natural healing by clearing energy blocks around the body and allowing your dog to rebalance themselves to resolve physical, emotional, and mental issues. As Reiki energy flows through the body (or mind) it breaks up ‘blockages’ and allows the area to function in a a normal healthy way, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. HERBAL SELF-MEDICAITON Our animals have the ability to self-medicate from the healing properties of plants, guided by how they taste and smell. In our tidy gardens and well-kept fields, our dogs don’t have access to the full ‘medicine cabinet’ of the hedgerow, so a self-medication session gives your dog the opportunity to select the remedies they need to get back into balance, emotionally and physically. They guide the session and I act as a facilitator, offering them a range of essential oils, waters, powders, dried herbs, macerates and oils. They can choose if they want to engage with them or not, and if so how… sniffing, licking, rolling, chewing, rubbing. It’s always their choice.
