Read MorePhysiotherapy is provided for dogs, cats and other small animals by NAVP Veterinary Physiotherapist Gemma Anthony. Gemma has several years of experience treating animals with a wide variety of conditions, from post-surgical IVDD patients, to arthritic animals, to agility dogs. She is able to draw upon her experience and extensive training to provide your pet with the best possible care. Hydrotherapy is also offered on our state-of-the-art Water Walker V3 underwater treadmill as an additional form of treatment for your pet. Many animals benefit from hydrotherapy alongside physiotherapy to better facilitate their recovery and help improve their strength, mobility and fitness in a gentle, low-impact manner. As a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP), Gemma must adhere to their Conditions of Membership, Code of Conduct and Continuing Professional Development programme. All members have professional and public liability insurance and are recognised by all major insurance companies. Gemma is also registered on the Animal Health Professions' Register (AHPR) - a voluntary register whose membership is open to those professions who provide services for the treatment of animals under veterinary referral and for the maintenance of health.

Gemma is so patient - she massaged my elderly collie and was kind and compassionate with him.
Kerry Eves, August 2022
Gemma has looked after my Miniature Poodle, keeping her fit for her sport, Canine Agility. Gemma also talked me through and demonstrated warm up exercises before each of Dani’s competitive runs which in turn keep her safe.
Rebecca Grant, August 2022
Gemma was exceptionally patient and considerate with my nervous dog, Koda. She paced her treatment with his comfort levels and he had an enjoyable experience.
