People and Dogs are based in Sheffield and have venues in Dronfield, Unstone and Norton. We specialise in force free training for all puppies and dogs using positive reinforcement. We offer a range of Life Skills classes depending on your dog's age. We also offer 1-1 services tailor made to suit each individual for general training, separation anxiety reactivity or other behavioural problems.
Read MorePeople & Dogs was founded in 1994 by canine behaviour specialist Victoria Cooper. Victoria has dedicated her life to supporting and coaching dog owners. She is an experienced, qualified and Certified Canine Behaviourist and Dog Trainer with over 30 years experience in teaching people how to train their dogs. In 2018 I started a mentoring programme with her alongside my studies, I assisted in many, many classes while being tutored as a trainer, and after becoming qualified, I became a full time instructor. In April 2023, I took over the reins of People and Dogs. I have qualifications in Canine Behaviour Management, Puppy Training, Dog Training, Canine First Aid and I am a Separation Anxiety Consultant and Approved Canine Reactivity Expert. I am constantly striving to update my knowledge to be able to offer the most up to date, science based, force free training available. People and Dogs have a team of instructors offering various services. Our Instructors are qualified, skilled and accredited in kind, science based, fear-free dog training techniques that will help your dog to develop the life skills needed to be a part of your family. The team has been personally coached by Victoria and each trainer has specialist skills and knowledge within their chosen discipline. I look forward to meeting you and your dog.
