Rachel Rodgers is an experienced dog trainer and behaviourist based on the Shropshire, Cheshire border in the UK. Having worked with a range of species, from dolphins to dogs, Rachel went on to be a manager for the RSPCA and Dogs Trust Dog School. She has a PGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education) and has spent time as a lecturer in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and Canine Behaviour and Training. Dog Training and Behaviour is an unregistered industry, so it is important you pick your trainer carefully. With a Master's degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare Rachel has a thorough theoretical knowledge to underpin her practical skills. Rachel is a fully accredited member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), number 01367. In 2020 she achieved Clinical Animal Behaviourist status with the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and is now a full member of the APBC. In November 2018 Rachel was awarded Animal Trainer of the Year at the inaugural Animal Star Awards. In July 2020 she won Dog Trainer of the Year with the Prestige Awards.
