Our HQ location is Snowdonia where our 10acre smallholding provides fantastic opportunities for training and exposure should you wish to attend our site or book in for residential training. Emily is an associate member of the CFBA. She has over 15 years of experience working with dogs, has spent the last decade as a British Army Officer and works for Pets as Therapy. She is also a member of the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. The Max Canine ethos is based upon a grassroots understanding of canine AND human behaviour, with a focus on breed-specific, bespoke training, and full working knowledge of issues we see in our domesticated dogs today. If you can begin to understand why your dog behaves the way it does, you can unlock the door to an incredible partnership. Services: 1-2-1 Dog Training. Carried out at Max Canine HQ, this service provides the bsics of training. We cover all basic training and obedience requirements. Overnight stays at our on site dog friendly cottage available. Approx 1-1.5hrs. Puppy Package. New puppy? This is for you. I travel to your home and work with you to do a full integration package and give you the confidence to progress into adulthood. Socialisation, basic training, nipping, jumping up, chewing, obedience, lead work and separation anxiety are all covered. Approx 2 hrs. Behaviour Consultation and Modification. A bespoke package covering all severe behavioural issues focusing not just on the dog, but on you as their guardian and your techniques as a handler. Issues can include dog-dog aggression, dog-human aggression, livestock, anxiety, obsessive behaviour and excessive barking. Bespoke follow-up programme to follow and ongoing support provided. Follow up booster sessions, if required, at £150. Overnight stays at our on-site dog-friendly cottage available. Dog and Owner Residential. A 3-day package for you and your dog to move into our beautiful cottage at Max Canine HQ to enjoy the full benefits of immersive and integrated training and behaviour modification. You will work 1-2-1 with leading professional Emily in order to overcome your issues. Day 1 will be an initial assessment, a 1-2-1 consultation and a Q&A. Day 2 is a session based around your needs at a time of your choice. You are then free to explore the beauty of surrounding Snowdonia. Day 3 is a further session focusing on specific areas and a careful handover of the reigns back to you. You will leave armed with a bespoke behaviour modification plan and ongoing support. Should you wish to extend your stay, this can be arranged. Dog Residential Training. Your dog will move in with us, will work with us daily and receive bespoke individual training focusing on your requirements. You can be assured of a consistent, all-day approach to immersive training and a bespoke handover with ongoing support. Note this package is by recommendation only.
