Susan Yeldham –
Excellent book. Very detailed route description. Would have appreciated more info on wether it would be suitable for off lead walks.
Tina –
I purchased the Essex walking guide and I am so impressed with the content and can’t wait to get started on the walks!
Wendy Thomas –
Some great walks but most are in the far flung areas of Essex – not much around Chelmsford sadly.

Well written, gives a good indication of what to expect to see on your walk. Information regarding styles are very useful, not only for dogs, but also for the “less agile” people. Addition of refreshment stops, (especially pubs), useful to save having to carry food-packs. A good variety of types of landscape, i.e., seaside, woodland, fields, historic and modern buildings, etc., cater for most tastes. A good read even sitting at home.
