Having used many dog grooming services over the years, I have found Top Dog grooming to be the best but also very consistent with my requirements.
They groom both of my dogs Woody & Buzz and they are always treated with care and respect.
Woody & Buzz themselves seem to really settle in the salon whereas other times they have been distressed which I can only put down to the care and treatment of the staff!

Charlotte is so caring, confident and professional in her role. She is an expert in managing all breeds and dogs like mine who are elderly or nervous. She treats each dog as an individual and you feel reassured knowing that they have been in safe hands. Also they look and smell beautiful when their pamper is complete.

I usually travel to Yorkshire from Cheshire to go to a dog groomers because I haven't come across one yet that a) doesn't stress my dog and b) actually manages to groom my dog properly (he doesn't like his face or back end doing). I have to say I won't need to do a four hour round trip any more. They did a fantastic job and Inka didn't come out a wreck like he did with the other groomers I've used in the area. Top marks from me (and Inks!).

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Always make Bella feel welcome and comfortable. This is the first groomers Bella has been able to settle at and I believe that is because of the calm nature of the groomers.

Great groomer but also super caring and compassionate. My dog is anxious around other dogs and Top Dog Grooming go out of their way to make sure he doesn't have to have unnecessary interactions with other dogs. It's made him so much more comfortable during what can already be a bit of a stressful/strange event for some dogs,.including him.

We are new to Top Dog and the first impression the girls gave off after a few short conversations was that our dog would be in great hands. They were so kind and courteous to us and everyone else they spoke to while we were in the vicinity. Then on top of all that they did a superb job on the full wash and cut of our spinone after we let him grow a bit wild!!!!

They are always so friendly and Fred (our Westipoo) always wags his tail going in and coming back out again. He's so chillaxed it's unreal.
They take a genuine interest in your pets well being and always a pleasure to drop him off (I would go there tomorrow if they cut human hair)

We have taken George here since they opened in 22/23 and every time he comes away with the perfect cut and treatment.We are listened to every time and photos kept to ensure we like the cut and it is the one we want before progressing. George is greeted with a great deal of care and consideration and made to feel that it will be a good experience every time he attends (6 weekly) as a cockapoo his coat can be very curly in parts. My only regret is that I cannot find a way to keep his coat looking as perfectly straight and amazingly fluffy myself some weeks later, as I am always complimented on him when he has been groomed. It’s Those simple things that make all the difference, the greeting, caring and the way George happily goes into His appt without fear is heartwarming. Combined with the advanced planning to cover any leave the groomer is thinking of taking in the coming months which may leave our pets hot and uncomfortable if it was not taken into account. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and kindness in providing such a fabulous service.

I recently took my furry friend to Top Dog Grooming and was incredibly impressed with the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, making my dog feel right at home. They clearly love animals and took great care to ensure my dog was comfortable throughout the grooming process.
The grooming itself was top-notch. My dog's coat is now soft, shiny, and free of mats. They even took the time to trim his nails and clean his ears. I was so happy with the results!

Top Dog Grooming is a dog friendly company the staff are amazing with my dog, who is not keen on being bathed or the dryer especially around his ears. He has been a fee times now and he is happy to see the staff and he hopped in the bath last time because the staff have been so dog friendly with him and helped him learn that it's not scary and that he is safe with them. The salon is always clean and tidy when I collect my dog. The staff are so welcoming to the owner and the dog.
