Everything is perfect for your visit, from the ‘welcome pack’ - for humans & canines - excellent facilities (especially the enclosed exercise field), delicious food and friendly staff.

So genuinely dog friendly! Our dog was made so welcome even in part of the dining room. There is a secure field as well as good outdoor space. Lots of thoughtful touches - blankets, bowls, treats. All this and when a family emergency necessitated an unplanned visit they were so kind to us humans too.

Amazing for dogs, they even have a doggy paddock with obstacles and lots of fun for the dogs to have!
I've never seen anything like it. Brilliant

Canine visitors are given a warm welcome, dog treats and a lovely doggy play park to run around in to their hearts content. Their B&B accommodation is dog friendly too.

Nothing was too much trouble and they made such a fuss of Lottie. Doggy sausages for breakfast, welcome bowls, bed, biscuits and Pooh bags! They also have a dedicated dog exercise area with an obstacle course. As soon as you sit down for a meal they come out with water for the dog. We will definitely be back.

Always welcome us with our two dogs when we come from a dog walk with treats. Even were happy to see us when there were 8 dogs arrive at the pub.

Our dog was treated as well as we were when we visited.
Fi Rowe, October 2020
When we stayed earlier this year both we and our dog were made so welcome at The Greyhound. I think every member of staff stopped to fuss our springer, who loved every minute!
In the accommodation, they supply treats, doggie bowls and bedding, in case you should need them. There are dog treats available in the pub, and the added bonus of a breakfast sausage was met with great enthusiam!
We will be back, once restrictions permit it!

Have shared many a quiet drink in the bar next to the log fire alongside a guest doggo. Am hoping to bring my Spanish rescue dog on the next visit, his confidence is improving every day and I know that this is the perfect place to introduce him to staying away from home.

Delicious food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, beautiful gardens for humans and canines to enjoy, and the people who run it are genuine dog lovers. (They also do dog-friendly accommodation, but we haven't tried it, so can't vote for them under that listing).

I have stayed at the Greyhound Inn a few times. Located in the picturesque Usk Valley and surrounded by countryside, it offers a warm welcome, nicely furnished dog-friendly rooms, good food, and a selection of real ales. What more could you want?
