I took my dog there after a recommendation due to my dog being very nervous about being groomed and handled. The staff were lovely, he got groomed at a quiet time of day and 1:1 attention. The staff were highly competent at their jobs and even told me about an injury to my dogs paw pad that ended up requiring vet attention. Short Bark and Sides are not only a friendly professional team but full of expert advice. Twice they have recommended I take Barney my Cavachon to the vets for treatment. Once for teeth issues, which saved many of his teeth. The second time for burst glands were he needed 3 weeks of antibiotics. I wouldn’t have known without their recommendations. Barney always looks smart after his groom and my friends comment on how handsome he looks.

They are a wonderful, friendly and professional business who treat each and every dog as if it's their own. When our puppy was 8 months old they noticed an issue with her load bearing weight on her back legs and muscle wastage - as a result our puppy was able to get an early diagnosis of severe bilateral hip dysplasia and early intervention in order to prevent immediate surgery. She is now 2 and owes her level of mobility to Short Bark and Sides!!!
