This is such a great dog friendly beach, great for bodyboarding, climbing rocks, exploring caves. Big beach with lots of space for dogs to run around. I went running along it in the evening with my dog off the lead. In peak summer times dogs are allowed 10am - 5pm on the lead but are allowed off lead outside those times. A bonus is the local ice cream parlour called 'Pavillion' where they do dog ice cream, fillet steak, chicken livers or pork flavour, my dog loved it! Plus all the shops/cafes are dog friendly. Perfect for your pooch!

A main beach but dog friendly - there aren't many of these in popular Cornish towns!

The beach is long (when the tide is out). Lots of dog lovers walk there. Climbing the Sand dunes behind are also great for my fitness!

This beach keeps us coming back year after year. I swear our dog Otis knows where he is when we arrive and its literally his most favourite place in the world. At low tide Perranporth beach and Penhale sands join to form a long stretch of beautiful sand. You can literally walk for miles with sand dunes on one side and the truly amazing deep blue ocean on the other. When the tide comes in you can pick up the South West Coastal path which rewards you with the most stunning views. Otis loves the rock pools which are revealed at low tide, some of which are deep enough for him to swim in. His favourite thing to do though, is chase his ball onto the ocean. We always finish off the day with a fabulous meal at the Watering Hole, which is literally right on the beach and watch the sun set over the sea. Truly stunning!

Wide expanse of beach for dogs to run paddle and generally have fun. Allowed on beach all year round (on a lead July and August) so your dog can have fun with the family.

Excellent long stretch (when the tides out) of beach. Also lots of rock pools to explore. Absolutely love the dog friendly Watering Hole bar/restaurant which is right on the beach and perfect to watch the sunset from.
