It's right on the coast path, easy to access, and amazing to watch my dog Rufus run across the beach as dogs are permitted throughout the year, run into rock pools and into the sea. Living the best life ever!!!

Fabulous beach for dogs - best at mid-low tide when the beach is widest and has tons of space. Always lots of other dogs off lead and the freshwater stream that runs into the beach and sea is great for drinking and cooling off if its hot. Amazing views all around with the cliffs and good services in the village too.

Ideal dog walking beach especially late evening when the beach is quiet

Its an amazing expanse of beach & is easily accessible. Lots of parking & good facilities. There is a river flowing onto it for any dogs nervous of the waves. It also has lifeguards in the summer months. Our dogs adore this beach, always lots of friends to play with!

Mawgan Porth is dog friendly all year round and is directly on the South West costal path. We have spent the last few Christmas's staying nearby with our two dogs, Fleck & Finn, and we all love this beautiful beach, particularly at sunrise or sunset. The dogs love to run free across the beach, roll in the soft sand, splash in the sea and jump into rock pools before we head over to catch for brunch, lunch or a delicious sea food supper. Just far enough from Newquay, Mawgan Porth benefits from the same golden sands and beautiful coastline but avoids the crowds. The beach is sheltered by high cliffs to each side with caves and even a stream running down from the hills and into the Atlantic beyond. It has all the facilities you need, including disabled access and a multitude of pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. We love it and can't wait to go back again soon!

Dogs are welcome everywhere in this village - the beach has a stream giving dogs fresh cool water, the Merrymoor Pub always has loads of dogs and everyone is so friendly!
