Harry Potter my pup is a confident and happy chapter since joining my family in July. We have been to airborne together, many cafes and even managed to do a shop! Eastbourne is my hometown and I’m proud to say so, especially being able to carry on seeing friends and family out for drinks x

Sandy Homewood, October 2024

I live here, and find that my dog is made welcome most places. In fact, we have a hard time walking around because everyone wants us to stop so they can pet her!

Barbara Leggett, October 2024

Love to take our Chihuahua with us when we visit restaurants. She enjoys it as much as we do and certainly receives a welcome. It is also so nice at how many shops in the Beacon allow her in. Particular mention to Super Savers along Terminus Road where the staff have to stroke her and make a fuss of her. NatWest also give her a great welcome. Do not know anywhere we receive such a welcome.

We ventured out to the beaches, princes park, Beachy head, several cafes & a pub with our pup. We will return as often as we can

Plenty of places to go outdoors with our dog, and a lot of businesses allow non-assistance dogs inside. I did query a council official once about the relative lack of dog poo bins, but it makes sense that we can add it to normal litter bins. The outdoor spaces are well-maintained, too.
