I have started in one of the luxury cottages and it was absolutely stunning. So well thought out for visits to Devon with your dog. The cottage had access to a huge secure training field with walks around a beautiful lake and in close proximity to the Devon dogs training centre.
The hot tub was brilliant I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in a visit to the area.

Have stayed several times and it’s the only place that caters for the dogs as well as the humans. Raised beds, towels, dog games and they even let the pups have a snuggle on the sofa 🐶🐾🐶🐾

I have been lucky enough to stay in nearly all of the cottages over the years. It is dog friendly but you would never know that other dogs had stayed there it is so clean. It is home from home, nothing is too much trouble.

The Cottages are very dog friendly and they are set up brilliantly for owners to add in the level of dog training into the holiday that they want. Good number of options to choose. Makes Bowerland much more accessible to dog lovers and owners who do not live nearby.

I have been to Bowerland 2 times and going back again in January. The cottages are so beautiful and clean. I love that you have such well-thought-out privacy and the gardens are lovely. The training programs I participated in were so full of information and learning. The trainers are patient and knowledgeable. I love going to Bowerland...it's Heaven in Devon

The cottages cater for all your essentials and more. It is dog heaven with enclosed gardens and dog friendly interior layout. On site training linked with the holidays are spectacular with fully qualified instructors who can help with anything from behaviour issues to agility. Such a beautiful and peaceful part of the countryside with access to many dog walking and sight seeing opportunities. The cottages are clean and well looked after.

The most magical place to stay. Truly designed to be dog friendly. They are especially prepared and designed to accommodate dogs. Cozy cottages, stay and train experiences catered to your specific needs. Beautiful views and so peaceful. Michelle and the whole team make you feel like family. Can’t wait to go back in November, plan to make trips to stay in every single cottage. Dartmoor was so lovely. Don’t be surprised if you make good friends with the other visitors. I sure did.

Everything was geared towards the dogs, including beds and blankets. Cottages are beautiful with organic natural products and the staff are dog friendly. There is even a separate place to walk your dog in a beautiful location.

Brilliant dog friendly breaks in accommodation which is both comfortable and designed with dogs in mind - so you never have to worry about a secure garden or taking a raised bed or forgetting the water bowl.... its all there waiting for you. Add to that the high quality training and facilities and I have found it difficult to find anywhere like it. Oh and it's also in beautiful Devon!

I stayed in one of their beautiful cottages whilst on a dog training holiday with Devon dogs. Quiet, with all comforts for me and my dogs (including dog washing facilities outside, perfect after a muddy winter walk), a secure garden and views of Dartmoor on one side and the rolling Devon countryside on the other, it was perfect. I also liked all the little touches - some of their honey, eco friendly products, somewhere to put scraps for the chickens, a native hedge around the garden, nest boxes and bee houses

I have stayed at Holly Hock cottage this is very luxurious, and the Annex this is small but had everything you needed, both were welcoming and had closed gardens with equipment for your dog. I'm going back next year with friends for the training combination and staying at Holly Hock again.

Bowerland cottages in Devon is just my Heavon!
It is a dream come true. You come to s place where you are accepted for who you are and people are so kind.
The learning is awsome as my mum experienced and told me a million times over. And we have booked another stay in July 2025 for a week from the 4th , for 7 days.
I have to say that this is the best hiliday you could ever imagine snd Quincy agrees totally!
It's a fantastic learning place, and opportunity to change your mindset. To grow the Lara Croft spirit and I know that it is an extra magical place on earth where I could just live the rest of my days enjoying learning, the community, nature, animals, being involved and helping where possible.
Both we as Quincy our German Shepherd are Zenn and this is how to escape from all your problems and focus on your dogtraining skills and mechanics. And getting to know nice people.
The resort is exclusive and soooooo nicely welcomming. Must have put a lot of thought in it and YES you do feel at home!

The minute you drive down the lane to Bowerland Cottage Holidays you are struck by the beauty, the tranquility and magic. It is one of the most enchanting and beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The cottages are so beautifully appointed, spotless, and you are met with so much kindness from everyone. In our cottage we found a lovely welcome package, with goodies, personalised welcome card, tea, coffee, fresh eggs, cookies, and so much more. Each cottage has a private, enclosed dog friendly garden complete with lovely seating areas, s lovely lawn with gorgeous plants, dog training equipment... it was absolutely delightful. And the grounds.... breathtakingly beautiful. Seriously, it's the very very very best place to go and I cannot recommend them highlighting enough. We loved it so much, we are returning next July for another week's holiday 💜💜💜

We spent a week at Bowerlands Cottages and was so impressed with how welcoming it was, great facilities for dogs, they provided beds for indoors and outdoors, bowls, game cards and even an outside shower to clean them off. Highly recommended for a holiday or incorporate dog training into the stay too !

We have stayed at Bowerlands on ten occasions now. It is well set up to cater for dogs that struggle in day to day life - those “reactive” dogs. The training style is positive and there is a nice group feeling to it. Would always recommend and will visit again soon.

I stayed in March of 2023 and loved it so much I'm going back in November! Each cottage is designed for the comfort of you and your dog, including enclosed, safe and relaxing yards, as well as the comfortable, dog friendly cottages. Best yet, you can book a trainer for personal skill development right in your cottage! The place is pure magic!
