The Whippet Inn
Outstanding food and drink in a friendly and funky atmosphere. Dogs are welcome in the bar area (and possibly outside seating as well). I visit York specifically to go to The Whippet as their steaks are out of this world. I cannot recommend highly enough. Note, dogs are welcome but smaller humans are not - which is fine with me!
