The Larch Barn

We are a family owned and run business with a passion for everything local, being local people ourselves living in Cleobury Mortimer. We began this exciting journey with a desire to offer locals and visitors from near and afar a place to meet friends and family, to eat and drink in the café and explore the outdoor plant centre and all that it has to offer. The Larch Barn is a new, purpose built development (built by local contractors of course) that benefits from the most wonderful view across the Shropshire countryside. The café will serve freshly baked cakes, scones and a delicious lunch-time menu as well as offering thirst quenching soft drinks, teas and coffees, 7-days a week. The café has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, perfect all year round, with a log burner inside to warm the colder days and picnic benches outside for a true British feel. The outdoor plant centre will present a wide range of trees, shrubs and plants at affordable prices, some of which will be grown right next door on our wholesale nursery. We have a fantastic team of staff who can’t wait to welcome you with a big smile, so pop up, say hi and come sample a warm batch of scones! Dogs are allowed in our 1st section (out of 2) and anywhere outside! There is no limit to the size or breed of the dog, as long as they are well behaved.
