Northumbrian cafe located 800 yards from the A1 (just off the B6347) , serving and stocking local produce, including Pilgrims Coffee. Alongside the cafe there is a gallery featuring Richard Dunwoody's photography and many other local craftspeople's work. Antiques shop open for browsing. Ample parking, outdoor seating, and very dog friendly - the garden features a dog agility course, with fresh water being available at various points within the cafe.
Read MoreThe Rocking Horse Cafe and Gallery was born out of a love for Northumberland. The cafe is proud to both serve and stock local produce, from jams, fudge and ginger wine to hand painted cards. We pride ourselves on how dog friendly the cafe is, with the owner having three Border Collies himself, two of which are often seen helping in the cafe. We have a large, secure garden which has jumps, weaving poles and a long tunnel for your canine companion to either practice or have-a-go at agility. More recently, a customer rated us on TripAdvisor as one of the best dog friendly cafes they have been to.

Absolutely fabulous food using local produce. Support and encouragement for other small businesses and environmentally friendly. Great welcome by the human and canine greeters. In fact perfect.

Fabulous cafe with beautiful locally sourced food and so dog friendly, they have 3 gorgeous border collies who meet and greet every visitor. There is a genuine love of dogs evident in the owner and the staff.
