Old Walls vineyard has an interesting history with evidence suggesting that wine was made here by the Romans. The south facing slopes and sea air make an ideal location for grapes to thrive. The Bistro began it's life as a small tea rooms, and following further investment is now a contemporary light and bright indoor space which opens onto a terrace with views across the rolling Devon hills to the sea and beyond. Its the perfect place to sit and relax, enjoy breakfast, a coffee or tea - with cake of course - lunch, afternoon tea, tapas on Friday evenings and bistro style dinner on Saturday night. Sunday lunchtime we offer a traditional roast lunch. The menu caters for vegetarians, and those following a vegan, gluten or dairy free diet. Whatever the occasion, your dog will always be welcome to join you. Our six holiday lodges nestle at the bottom of the vines. Two are pet friendly, providing a fully enclosed outdoor space. There are a number of good dog walks locally.
