Mikaku

Started by a well established figure in Glasgow’s food & nightlife scene, Mikaku is inspired by the izakaya bars of Tokyo. We wanted to take some of those cozy late night experiences and bring them home, creating a relaxed space to bring friends together in a truly unique environment to enjoy small plates and drinks. 

With an expansive menu offering typical izakaya dishes as well as our acclaimed, authentic ramen cooked using traditional Japanese methods, Mikaku runs the gamut as a venue dedicated to offering a wide variety of standout dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan twists on Japanese classics. All of our cocktails are designed in house by our resident mixologist and employ exciting and unusual techniques that make them as entertaining to watch as they are to drink.

Our hope is that you’re time spent here, from the interior to the menu to the drinks, is one that comes together to offer an experience like no other in Glasgow.
