A small establishment not far from the National Trust woods leading to Formby beach. Hot and cold drinks, made to order sandwiches & snacks, as well as a selection of cakes. Check Facebook page for opening hours which vary according the time of year.

Establishments with limited space and seating are often extremely reluctant to allow dogs inside but that was not the case here where my friend and I, who each had a small dog with us, were made to feel very welcome an a rather windy October afternoon.
Staff were happy to provide a glass of water for us to pour into our dogs drinking bowl and they even apologised for not having any dog biscuit treats available!
For humans there was a good choice of sandwich and jacket potato fillings on the menu, a tempting array of home made cakes on display at the counter, and a variety of hot & cold drink options.
If like we were, you are passing through on a day excursion by car, then the only downside is the lack of parking, but we did manage to find a spot on a side street by Freshfield Station which is just over the road from the Tea Rooms.
