GIFT Cafe

Retain Wellbeing CIC has been running the GIFT cafe (Getting Involved, Finding Talent) in Puddington since September 2017 despite the pandemic! We have plenty of parking and open space in our gardens and actively encourage customers to attend who may live with memory difficulties. We love our four legged friends, so be aware that there may be several in attendance at any time. We ask that all dogs remain on a lead, for them not to sit on chairs and to keep to the one allocated room inside so we can cater for those with allergies etc too in the other room. Our cafe has spacious gardens and two rooms inside. We have 9 tables indoors which seat approximately 25 people when full. We are a small venture and create each order at the time of choosing. This means we serve good food as fast as we can but we are not a fast food outlet. For those on a walk, we are happy to give you take away options too. Feel free to call ahead with your order, we will have it waiting for you if you don't want to stop or if there are a lot of you. We have a team of well trained Baristas and always have at least one variety of non dairy milk available. Although we do not specialise in specific types of food (we regularly have specials which change!) we ensure we have options for those on a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free diet including light lunches/snacks and "afters". We do our best to supply doggie treats too though we have had difficulty with supplies over the last two years on occasion. Water is always available. Any profit we make in the cafe goes to our other community projects such as Welcome Me -our active coffee morning for those with memory difficulties and to provide additional support within the local community by having singing sessions, drop in sessions for the local Admiral Nurses and hosting Memory Cafes lead by Dementia Together Wirral.
