Located next to Coalhouse Fort on the River Thames in East Tilbury, this cafe is based in an old Engine Room serving electricity to the Fort; tables are mounted onto the Engine Plinths for a bit of novelty. The owner is very welcoming of dogs, last time I visited there were no fewer than 4 inside (one, obviously a regular, off-lead). Basic snack food freshly prepared to order.
