The Muddled Man Inn

The Muddled Man Inn is truly a dog’s home from home. With our Garden catching the sun all day it’s a great place to when to weather fine and dry but even the dog want to get in from the rain.

All our four-legged friend are offered a treat before the owner is offered a drink, which we think is only fare as they did not chose to visit (or did they as most local dogs can ‘t walk past without turning in to the pub!).

We don’t have our own dog anymore, but we do have a few that think of us as their other home.

We may only be a small village pub, but our local dog community keeps us going all year round.

With so many walks around the local area we a regular stop for so two and four legs alike.

To us there is no such thing as a bad dog or for that matter unruly children it the untrained owner/parent that is the real problem.

Our Pub sign is “Well Behaved Dag & Children Welcome” (dog do come first).

Our web site has “meet the locals” page (that is just the dogs).

We also have two on-suite twin bedrooms with a small charge for dog in the room.

There is always a water bowl available if you can’t find it just ask.

Most of our regulars are not on leads as they have been trained to mix with others, but some are just to unruly and need a short lead.

When it comes to dog we don’t have a problem with size as we have chuwawahas to Great Danes, Jack Russells to Malimutes, Alsatians to Beggles and all kinds of Poodle cross breads as regulars.

As for the humans we have Cask Marque Real Ales from 12 SIBA breweries from the South & West of England. With real pub Grub as we are not a Gastro Pub just honest Home Cooked food from homemade soups to Steaks Homemade Pies to traditional Puddings
