The Kempock Bar is one of Inverclyde's top bars. It is a community pub which caters for the needs of its local clientele. It is a major destination bar for whisky fans. The juke box contains the music collection of some of the bar's regulars resulting in a wide range of music genres. And of course, the pub welcomes well behaved dogs!

The Kempock Bar is a favourite pub in Gourock. Owner Jim is very friendly, often spending time with new visitors, sharing stories and anecdotes. He is always welcoming to dogs - he has a cupboard in the corner of the bar and canine regulars know that's where the doggie-biscuits are stored! Although dogs can often wander freely in the bar area, Jim prefers that they are on a lead during busy times. I recommend a visit especially to listen to the renowned jukebox!
