The Greyhound Inn

Set among the picturesque surroundings of southern Oxfordshire The Greyhound Inn is a handsome 18th century free house offering drinking and dining downstairs and spacious bedrooms over the upper floors. Set in the heart of the village of Letcombe Regis, this red-brick building was bought in 2015 and renovated to an exceptional standard throughout, creating a fabulous family and dog-friendly gastro pub, retaining its character and period features while adding a modern luxurious feel.

Here is the full review from October Willis:

The bar, lounge and dining areas are a pleasing blend of warm woods and comfortable seating serving food that looks fantastic and tastes every bit as good. The bedrooms are light and roomy with high-quality bathrooms stocked with locally sourced aromatherapy products, perfect for a soak in the bath after a long countryside walk, and not forgetting your dog they provide a bed and water and food bowls for them in the room as well as a box full of treats and posh food.

Letcombe Regis is a small village full of thatched cottages and period properties. It’s a great base from which to explore the many walks the county of Oxfordshire has to offer.

Local sites
