They’re great - they have their own resident pooch, Dave. And when we had our engagement drinks there, dogs (and kids) were welcomed all evening. They’re always trying new events and making it friendly to be in.
They also have various local caterers in rather than having their own menu which means you can always try something new!
K Bolin, September 2021
The Globe are a small indie pub in Newbury that love dogs more than humans. No, I’m not exaggerating. Great selection of drinks and bar snacks and you can expect a super warm welcome every time you go (sometimes pub dog Dave even does the welcoming). Just don’t be offended if the bartenders know your dog’s name and not yours (told you they love the dogs). P.s. free dog treats at the bar.
