The Crown hotel

This pub is most welcoming of dogs. We have been going for many years with our old lurcher and now with our new addition since the old girl passed away. The staff are second to none, all dog loving and even have treats behind the bar. The food is amazing, home cooked tradtional food and well behaved canine companions are welcome in eating areas, although must be kept on a lead at all times. The ambience in the pub is fantastic especially in the colder seasons as there are two open fires, one at each end which create a lovely warm and cosy atmosphere wherd your pooch can curl up. The pub landlady has also gone to great lengths to ensure the pub is covid safe, its table service only. There are multiple sanitising stations and a screen around the bar serving area. Staff are quick to clean tables in between sittings and wear masks. There are also outside seats available at the front of the pub. Booking is advised as its a really popular venue in the area with now limited space.
