The Claremont

The Claremont is a stylish but cosy pub that's known locally for our pizzas and friendly atmosphere. Not far out of the city centre but far enough that the few minutes walk gets you a spectacular view over the valley from our back garden. Two gardens which make us a great summer pub, and a real log fire which keeps us cosy in winter. We have a regular pub quiz which is always popular, so worth booking in advance! We also have live music from local bands and musicians, and are always looking for more if you play locally. We serve roast dinners every Sunday, with beef, pork, chicken, and veggie and vegan options. We have a back room which is available for private functions or meetings, and we offer buffets or pre ordered menus for this kind of event if you need. Dog treats and bowls of water mean your dog should be as happy as you to spend time here.
