The Charlcombe Inn is a dog-friendly pub close to the centre of Bath with easy road access, ample parking and a large garden overlooking Bath Racecourse. Dogs are welcome in the outside garden & bar area on a lead and also to stay overnight in one of the high quality premium en-suite guest bedrooms. The Charlcombe, which offers a great selection of freshly prepared, locally sourced dishes, is perfect for a leisure break to explore the local area, although you do need to let them know if advance if you require a dog friendly room. There is even a dog box provided with a blanket, bowl & treats.

We stayed at the Charlcombe Inn for one night whilst in the area looking at Universities with our daughter. The room was very spacious and clean. Lottie, our pup, loved the doggie box in the room, which contained treats, a blanket, poo bags & a bowl. We took a Park & Ride bus into the centre of Bath, which was really easy from the pub and was our dog's first experience of a bus! The carpark was just up the road and free. We had dinner in the pub with friends; the food was lovely and there was a great choice of beers & wines. There was a great choice of options for breakfast.....we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! If visiting the area again we will definitely book to stay and eat here again.
