A delightful village pub and inn. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great food. Added bonus the Manager, Dave, has a beautiful bouncy Labrador.

Booked lunch for a group of 5 adults after completing one of the Shepherd Neame circular pub walks. Had checked first that the pub was 'dog friendly'
They really really are! We, along with our canine friend were made to feel extremely welcome. Our four legged friend received a pat or a kind word every time the staff passed by. As we were served our drinks order, a water bowl and a dish of dog treats were also brought to the table.
This pub is wonderful and has plenty of character, it is well run by friendly efficient staff, and serves fantastic food made from locally sourced ingredients. We loved our visit and would highly recommend it.

A very dog friendly pub both inside and on the lovely terrace & in the spacious garden.
Water and dog biscuits are offered & the staff clearly love dogs.
The food is great too.
