Admiral Benbow

The Admiral Benbow is one of Cornwall's most eccentric pubs. The interior is one of only two in Cornwall listed by CAMRA as historically important. The downstairs bar is cosy and crammed full of marine wreckage. Swords hang from the beams, a lifesize boat erupts next to the fireplace next to a brass diving helmet, and ships' anchors are everywhere. A perfect spot for cosy chats and and with many quiet booths away from the bustle, a great place for your pooch to settle down while you enjoy a nice drink or soemething to eat. We serve Cornish Ales and Cider and lagers from further afield. Be sure to sample of range of rums- we've got more than twenty! Or maybe one of our fifteen different gins - including some you can only find in this part of Cornwall !

We serve food at lunch and dinner - check with us for seasonal opening times and hours, and we have an extensive and interesting wine list.

Not to be missed is our 'Great Cabin' at the rear of the pub. We'll let you discover it for yourself.....suffice it to say it's unexpected and quite surprising!
