GHS specialises in making and supplying liquid disinfectants, of which Vira-Care Broad Spectrum Disinfectant Cleaner is DEFRA General Orders Approved, Parvo & EN1276 Tested. We also make and supply Anti-bacterial cleaning products, detergents, sanitisers, dog shampoo's, deodoriser sprays and surface wipes to both the animal care and leisure industry market sectors. Our own label products are biodegradable and Leaping Bunny Approved with Cruelty Free International.

GHS formed originally in 1985, and has offices and factories based in the Thames Estuary on Canvey Island, Essex. We supply to customers throughout Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Eire. We are an independent supplier with many years of experience. GHS understands the needs and requirements of all its customers and aims to offer quality, tested and approved products that suit customers’ hygiene needs at all times. As a company committed to promoting the hygiene and welfare of all animals, its products are formulated to prevent disease and sickness, control infection and stop cross-contamination. In addition to manufacturing and supplying detergents, GHS Direct also offers a wide range of paper ware, enzyme cleaners, washing powders, heavy duty black sacks and other ancillary items suited to the leisure and animal care sectors. Many of the ingredients used are from natural/organic sources with a suppliers’ guarantee of the non-use of animal testing.

GHS Direct became officially ‘Leaping Bunny Certified’ in August 2015. We are proud to be a cruelty free company. All of our own household, cosmetic and animal grooming products are certified as not tested on animals under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the international gold standard for products that are free from animal testing. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria.
