Yarn Market Hotel

The Yarn Market Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Dunster, one of the most perfectly preserved medieval villages in England, and the gateway to Exmoor National Park. The magnificent Dunster Castle is at the end of the street and the West Somerset Railway runs close by. There are many themed breaks on offer throughout the year, and the area is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities or just a relaxing break. For walkers the hotel has excellent facilities including a boot and drying room, and maps are readily available combined with local knowledge to help you with your walks. The beach and the start of the South West Coast path are just a short distance away and from the hotel doorstep many walks start encompassing moorland, forestry and riverside. Most of the bedrooms have either a view over the village or the surrounding countryside. Pets are most welcome at the hotel in the dog-friendly rooms. We have a "woof guide" leaflet giving ideas for local walks and local attractions and eating places that allow dogs. Dogs are allowed in most areas of the hotel except our main restaurant, but we have a separate smaller restaurant where you can dine and your dog is also welcome.
