This hotel is a real 12th Century Castle , saying that it has all the mod cons. It is furnished beautifully in keeping with the building, but is warm and cosy. Our room was spacious with a huge bath in the large bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. As we had the dog with us we could not eat in the dining room but were given a function room ,all to ourselves. We felt like royalty and we were really well looked after by the waiting staff. The food was lovely. There are dog walks at the rear of the hotel. A really special stay for us and the dog.
