The White House

The White House, our beautiful Regency Villa, built by Architect to the King Sir Jeffry Wyatville in 1823, stands in the centre of the coastal village of Charmouth. Surrounded on three sides by the glorious West Dorset countryside and with the sea to the south, we are just a five minute walk to the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coastline and its famous fossil beach. Great for walking, both for people and their four legged friends. There are a wealth of places to discover and explore in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Two miles to the west is the "Pearl of Dorset", Lyme Regis, with its world famous 14th century Cobb. We are also just five miles from River Cottage and six miles along the coast from West Bay. We have a private car park to the rear of the hotel (please note though, the entrance can be a little tight for the largest cars). There is also a parking space at the front and free on-street parking on the road right opposite the hotel.
