The Titchwell Manor Hotel

Titchwell Manor is a boutique hotel that was originally a farm house. It has been taken over and revamped, with additions to the main building. Eight rooms, or sheds, sit around the area known as the herb garden, two shepherd’s huts behind them, while the remaining buildings are brick-built and huddled around the entrance. There’s a small menu – usually the sign of a good chef – with a single vegetarian choice for the main. Advisable to ask for more options, as the vegetarian choice is repeated nightly. The chef, Eric, is big on fish and chips, and owns a number of establishments across Norfolk. Thirty minutes walk from the door to the nearest beach or into Brancaster for a choice of pubs. £15 per dog per night, and up to two dogs accepted.
