The County is a gem of a pub with rooms, just away from the historic centre of Hexham – recently voted Britain's favourite market town!
We are the perfect place for a post-work cocktail, a business brunch or a private party with friends. With food served all day, fresh barista coffee and free Wi-Fi, we’re also a popular venue whatever the occasion.
We welcome your four legged friend throughout the Pub & for an overnight stay too.

All the little dog-friendly touches made our stay here wonderful - alongside great accommodation and food for the humans! There was a doggy welcome bag in the room and a blanket in case your dog insists on sleeping with you on the bed! Not only were dogs welcome in the breakfast room, the chef made them each a special doggy breakfast - scrambled egg and sausage the morning we stayed. The hotel is beautifully located for fabulous walks a few minutes drive away but honestly it’s just great to stay in!

We stayed here overnight, first time we stayed overnight with our pomeranian. They were brilliant with him and us, we felt so welcomed.
