The Bridge Hotel is a true dog friendly hotel in the Lake District. Buttermere has so many fantastic walks, that from the moment you walk out our front door you’re spoiled for choice. This makes it a truly ideal destination to share with man’s best friend. We understand that for many, dogs are an important part of the family and as such, all our standard rooms, as well as two self-catering apartments, are dog friendly. Dogs and muddy paws are very welcome in our Walker's Bar too and even have their own section on the Menu!

We love taking our 2 labradors to the bridge it’s the most amazing place and they make a huge fuss of them making sure they have everything they need including little treats!

Always made to feel very welcome both in the accommodation and the bar. With 2 big Newfoundland dogs that is not always the case so commend the Bridge for being truly dog friendly whatever the size of dog
