The Savoy is part of the Brittania Group of hotels and is subject to a Pet Policy (available on their website) charging £10 per night for dogs, or £25 if staying more than 2 nights.

plus points:

- located on the sea front at the northern (quieter) end of Blackpool with tram stops directly across the road

- limited on site free car parking

- range of tariffs from room only to Bed, Breakfast & Evening Meal

- meals in Gilberts Restaurant are 'all you can eat' self-service buffets with a good choice of options

- dogs can be left unattended in bedrooms for a limited time whilst you eat

- adjacent grass areas ideal for dog toilet needs first & last thing in the day

minus points:

- appeared to be little or no heating other than in main communal areas.

- bedroom & en-suite definitely chilly despite radiators so had to ask for a blanket to be provided in order to be warm enough when sleeping
