Red Lion Hotel

I have never been in a hotel that is so dog friendly. As soon as we arrived our dog was offered a drink of fresh water, taking priority over us. He then got a goodie bag of treats and we were asked if we would like a map of local walks copying for us. The dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel including in the bars and dining room while we ate our breakfast. There are no rules regarding dogs being on the premises and you feel totally at ease and can totally relax with your dog during your stay.

The owner is a dog lover and is heavily involved in dog charity work, even giving away items for donations to the charity he supports and got his rescue dog from.

I really feel other people need to be made aware just how dog friendly this hotel is as it is situated in the Borders of Scotland which is an ideal location for dog walking holidays. Thank You
