Being situated only two miles from Glentress Forest and only a little further from 7Stanes at Innerleithen, this is a wonderful place to visit if you are into mountain biking.
The quiet and relatively empty Borders roads offer excellent motorcycle touring country.
During the Summer months there are two Osprey watching sites in operation in the area.
With attractions such as: Kailzie Gardens; Dawyck Botanical Gardens; Go-Ape and Traquair House, it has lots to offer tourists.
