The Great House is not only the perfect dog-friendly home-from-home, but it also happens to be a luxury escape for its humans, too!
An historic and characterful Grade II Listed, 17th century Country House offering luxury accommodation in traditional English style…what’s not to like?
Located within the Exmoor National Park close to the year-round dog-friendly beach at Dunster. There are far too many walks to mention on here, but we can recommend our favourites when you visit depending on what you like - coastal walks, open moorland, woodland meanders, riverside strolls, National Trust villages, beaches…Exmoor has it all! We also have a large and varied selection of maps and books for you to borrow so you can explore the stunning Exmoor National Park at your own pace. Alternatively, as Sheila is a Somerset native and passionate about Exmoor, she can suggest an itinerary tailored to the length of your visit.

Sheila and Bruce are a fantastic couple who make a great team when it comes to taking care of everyone and everything at their B&B. They put 1000% effort into their business as it is their passion to care for the needs of the people/animals they WELCOME into their HOME. 💚🪻
