We are within easy reach of the dramatic Heritage Coastline and equidistant from our vibrant capital city of Cardiff & the cosmopolitan city of Swansea. The hotel has 4 newly refurbished pet friendly Deluxe Double bedded rooms that can be booked.

Best Western Heronston

This was our first time taking our puppy away and I was keen to see family in Wales, so it seemed like an opportune time. We stayed in the Best Western Heronston in Bridgend.
The hotel were accepting of dogs and charged £10 per night. The hotel is in need of an update which they were doing, and my husband and I were fortunate enough to have a refurbished room. The staff were lovely and accommodated us by setting our breakfast up in the lounge area. We found a dog friendly beach down the road with a wonderful fresh crab van!
We booked to eat at the Watermill pub in Ogmore by the sea, where Tink was made to feel welcome. You can eat in or out with dogs and they had a table with fresh water, spare bowls, and dog treats. The owner was very passionate about making dogs welcome and as an added benefit the food was amazing. Check out the Bread of Heaven.
