Pitlochry Youth Hostel

Sitting away from the town's busy main street, all of the hostel's comfortable rooms are en-suite, and are perfectly suited for couples, families and individual travellers. Guests can opt for continental breakfast served in the large dining room with fantastic views over the beautiful Perthshire countryside (please remember to pre-book), or take advantage of the well-equipped self-catering kitchen. WiFi is free for all guests and other facilities include a laundry, drying room and free onsite parking. Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception. The hostel is licensed and there’s plenty of room to relax and enjoy a Scottish craft beer or glass of wine in one of the hostel’s two comfortable lounges, one with a TV. Browse the shops, eat and drink in local restaurants, or visit the town’s two excellent distilleries. Other attractions include Pitlochry Festival Theatre, leaping salmon at the town’s fish ladder, Blair Castle and the Queen's View. Not forgetting the magical ‘Enchanted Forest’ in nearby Faskally woods in October - but remember to book early for this one! The hostel is only available on an exclusive private rental basis between November and April.
