Smytham Holiday Park

Smytham Holiday Park has 33 acres of undulating grounds with lawns, meadows, woodland and ponds to explore. For dogs, there is a 3-acre exercise paddock where they can be let off of their leads to run around, explore, play fetch and stretch their legs. There is even a pond where they can enjoy a swim on a sunny day! On site, we have a games room with a soft play for under 5s, table tennis, pool tables and more. Just outside is the play area with swings, slides and climbing frames. Whilst your family are playing and having fun, your beloved dogs can join you too. If you fancy cycling the famous Tarka Trail, our on site cycle hire has bikes for adults and children along with trailers which you can use to transport toddlers or pets so that the whole family can enjoy a trip out to our local cafes and pubs. The outdoor heated swimming pool, open from May to September, faces south and is a beautiful sun trap where you can soak up the sunshine. Whilst we cannot allow pets into the swimming pool, they are welcome to enjoy the sundeck. In Reception is our onsite shop which sells local produce and essentials including food, toiletries, drinks and dog toys, shampoo, towels and pet supplies. You can also purchase a freshly brewed coffee to enjoy on a dog walk. Our bar, Smythies' Bar is open seasonally and is perfect for enjoying a local beer, cider, gin or rum on the sofas inside or on the decking where you can view the stunning sunsets. Smythies' Bar is family friendly where you can all enjoy a board game or pack of cards. Your dogs can visit Smythies' with you. Onsite we also have our new Muddy Paw Wash, perfect for pampering your pooch after a busy day out at the beach or exploring the surrounding countryside. Our Muddy Paw Wash is a professional dog washing unit supplied with hot and cold water and a dog grooming hair dryer to dry off once your dog has been shampooed. All of our camping and touring pitches at Smytham Holiday Park are pet friendly and our private holiday caravan owners can have up to two dogs stay with them during their holidays. Our luxury log cabin, Heather Lodge, can accommodate up to six people and two dogs. Upon arriving at Heather, you will find your welcome basket filled with locally produced treats wating for you along with a special welcome treat for your four-legged friends. Unfortunately at this time, we do not accept dogs in our glamping pods or Lavender Lodge.
