Michelle Jackson – Owner of Love Hounds Dog Grooming, Bedford I am the proud owner of Love Hounds Dog Grooming, a multi-award-winning salon in Bedford renowned for exceptional grooming services and customer care. Specialising in canine teeth cleaning, I am honoured to have won the Canine Teeth Cleaner PDBUK Award ‘24 and serve as a PBDUK Ambassador. I welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Toy Yorkies to XL Bullies, ensuring each receives personalised care. My journey to creating Love Hounds is rooted in resilience. In February 2022, my fiancé passed away unexpectedly, a tragedy that profoundly shaped my life. In the aftermath, I found strength in my passion for dogs. My two rescue hounds, one from Russia and one from Cyprus, provided comfort and inspiration. Building Love Hounds became a way to transform grief into purpose, celebrating the bond between dogs and their owners. Starting the salon from scratch was challenging, requiring long hours and perseverance to build a loyal customer base. Yet, the joy of seeing dogs leave my salon happy and owners grateful makes it all worthwhile. For me, it’s not just about grooming—it’s about creating a space where pets and their owners feel safe, cared for, and valued. I am committed to excellence, constantly improving through CPD courses and attending national events like Crufts and Groomfest. These experiences help me bring the best care and techniques to my clients. Running Love Hounds has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
