Read MoreBased in Castleford, West Yorkshire, Big Paws Little Paws Grooming Parlour is an open planned salon promoting holistic wellbeing of your dogs. Using only the best natural products available we pamper your pooch in a relaxed loving environment. We don’t use crates in our salon and all our clients are free to express their natural behaviour whether they have a nap whilst they wait for their turn in the bath on one of our beds or they go for a wonder in our secure back garden. We work with dogs of all behaviours as we believe all dogs should have that chance to be professionally groomed. If you have a nervous or anxious dog we take our time and build up trust so your dog learns to enjoy being groomed. Our priority is our dogs wellbeing at all times and once they have been to us they become part of our ever growing family. We are city and guilds level 3 qualified, fully insured, advanced canine first aid trained and much much more training under our belts. Our services range from a bath and dry to full grooms, you can add on extras such as ear cleans or our new ultrasound teeth cleaning service. New to our salon for the autumn is our late night opening hours and also our canine reiki service. You can find us on our social media pages where you can see all our recommendations. They are fantastic with my rescued Shih Tzu Cookie he was scared when I first took him, they use an holistic approach taking time to introduce different tools and equipment used to groom. I now take Cookey every 8 week and he loves to go he is so relaxed, the staff genuinely love him along with my old girl Maddy who is 13yrs she has extras like Reiki for her joints all the staff are so caring and loving they deserve the award I would give them 10 Stars.

Absolutely amazing grooming parlour, They take extra care in looking after your dog as if they were their own. Getting to know their personality and working up their confidence. Training them to behave in the salon for a safe experience for both the dog and groomer. They work extremely hard and have amazing reviews on Facebook and by word of mouth. Their puppy university for young pups is brilliant as they teach your babies to become desensitized to the grooming environment so when your pup gets groomed it's like a walk in the park- nice and easy.
