The Museum of The Broads
The Museum of The Broads is a dog friendly museum located in Stalham, North Norfolk. Our mission is to bring the stories of the Broads alive. We do this through our great collection covering all aspects of the Broads, with boats, photos, objects, histories and boat rides. We are open April to October. Dogs are welcome, even on our boat trips, with their own lifejackets supplied.
Read MoreWe bring the stories of the Broads alive with unique displays, trails, activities and special exhibitions. You can take a river trip to immerse yourself in the Broads landscape and spot local wildlife. Families, groups and dogs most welcome. The Museum is located on the riverside at Stalham Staithe, North Norfolk. We open four or five days a week from the end of March to the end of October. We welcome dogs and their owners to all parts of the Museum, including the boat trips, where we provide special dog life jackets. We also have dog bowls, dog treats and dog ice cream. The Museum has five buildings filled with fascinating items that tell the stories of the Broads. We also have a steam boat and an electric boat, so you can get out onto the water and experience the broads at first hand, hopefully seeing some of the wonderful wildlife in this area. We have a gift shop and a small cafe. All areas of the Museum on ground level and easily accessible. Our electric boat, Marsh Harrier is also accessible.
