Skipton Castle Woods
Hidden behind one of Britain’s most popular medieval castles, the Woodland Trust's Skipton Castle Woods is a rare ancient woodland habitat accessible straight off the high street. The main entrance is via the Canal and Rivers Trust elevated tow path at the side of High Corn Mill.
You can follow the 2.5 mile Earl of Thanet Trail through the woods.
