Scarborough Castle
(1 review)
With over 2,500 years of turbulent history behind it, Scarborough Castle defends a prominent headland between two bays, there is evidence of Iron Age settlements and the remains of a Roman signal station on the site.

English Heritage site that is dog friendly throughout. Well worth the trek to the entrance on top of the headland as there are magnificent views in all directions once inside the castle ruins. Interesting historical facts too.
